Ducati has unveiled the Monster 2026, a completely redesigned model centered on a new 890 cc V2 engine. This twin-cylinder powerplant with variable valve timing produces 111 hp at 9,000 rpm and 91.1 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, delivering more than 80% of its torque between 4,000 and 10,000 rpm.
The chassis adopts an aluminum monocoque frame, paired with a twin-sided swingarm inspired by the Panigale V4 and a rear subframe built from a mix of steel and reinforced polymer, keeping the dry weight at 175 kg.
The Showa suspension setup includes a 43 mm upside-down fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, while braking performance is provided by Brembo components with 320 mm front discs, a radial master cylinder, and M4.32 calipers.
Technologically advanced for its class, the Monster 2026 features ride-by-wire throttle control and a 6-axis IMU. It will be available in Ducati Red and Iceberg White, offered in standard and Monster+ versions—the latter equipped with a windscreen and passenger seat cover.
